Wheelchair Karate Federation
The
International Japan Karate Association has now introduced
specialised training courses for its Senior Instructors in
Wheelchair Karate.
It is the intention of IJKA Ireland to promote a policy of
inclusion towards all people wishing to practice martial art.
The development of the IWKF will not only allow people with
physical disabilities to defend themselves but also be included
in an International Martial Arts Organisation.. Karate is a life
long study.

Participating in the IWKF

Participate in seminars with Shihan Asai 9th Dan
Chief Instructor IJKA and Shihan Kato 8th Dan.

Take part
in National, European and International competitions as
members of the National karate team.

Integrated Karate training with al members of IJKA Karate.
Karate is a
discipline which requires dedication, practice, and respect for
fellow participants. As well as being a fighting art, it also
has a philosophical basis.
